The total population is 2,475 persons, 450 households. One of the main challenges faced by the community in this village is education facilities and teachers availability:
Together with CEU CEU AQIQAH (Indonesia), we provided nutritious lunch for 520 poor children from IDP(Internally Displaced People) host villages in Sittwe, Rakhine.
Nov 2017, Emergency Food Aid distributed to 2,117 families in Sittwe IDP camps and villages, partnering with Human Appeal (UK). Emergency pack includes essential food items and non-food items such as hygiene products and mosquito nets. For a family of five, each package will provide a month supply of nutritional and hygienic needs.
During October and November of 2017, in response to the community in Maungdaw, Buthidaung area affected by the conflict, we distributed emergency aid to 3,000 families. The distribution was conducted through RRD (Relief & Resettlement Department) and funded by Human Appeal (UK), WF-Aid (UK) and MAA (Australia).
