Education projects

In the field of education, we organized 30 IDP women graduates to attend “Teachers Training Course” in collaboration with UNICEF training program. We recruited these trained teachers to teach IDP children from kindergarten to Grade 5 in Dapaing Camp.

We renovated around 15 schools in villages outside the Camps, provide teaching learning equipment and installed latrine drainage systems and water pumps for these schools. Lately we renovated one middle school in Than-Daw-Lee village now more than 500 students are enrolled. We also added latrine drainage system and water pumps in this school.

More than 5,000 school uniforms are distributed to the student either in the camps or outside the camps for both Muslim and Buddhist. 7,000 more schools uniforms and clothes have been ordered to be distributed soon.
